Getting your" Ark" ready

All I really need to know I learned from Noah's Ark

1. plan ahead. It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark.

2. Stay fit. when you are 600 yrs. old someone might ask you to do something REALLY big.

3. Don't listen to critics. do what needs to be done

4. For saftey sakes travel in pairs.

5. Speed isn't always an advantage. The cheetahs were on board but so were the snails.

6. When the doo-doo gets really deep, don't sit there and complain-shovel!!

7. Don't forget that we are all in the same boat.

8. remember the wood peckers inside are often a bigger threat then the storm outside.

9. keep in mind that the Ark was built by amatures with the Lords help, while the Titanic was built by professionals.

10. NO MATTER HOW BLEAK IT LOOKS, RAIN IS ALWAYS FOLLOWED BY A RAINBOW.

So, This year one of my new years resoloutions is Not eating that Second slice of cake, no matter how badly I need it! No just kidding who says that?? anyway, seriously I want to make sure I prepare my "Ark". No one really knows when a disaster will strike. be it a massive situation or just a minor. but, one thing is for sure we all need to prepare for the storm that lies ahead. This month as luck would have it I was handed a list on how to put together a 72 hour kit. This to some may seem like an huge task, Thankfully whoever prepared this list read my mind. "Break it down, make it simple" so I am going to post the month by month list. so, by the end of the year we will be ready when the "rain" falls.
